POLK COUNTY — A Somerset, WI, man has been convicted in Polk County Circuit Court on charges from a February 2026 crash that prosecutors say endangered the lives of a father and his 2-year-old daughter.

According to the criminal complaint, Abraham Neumann, 27, fled the scene on foot after driving through a stop sign and colliding with another vehicle before later admitting to officers that he had smoked marijuana before the crash. Neumann was sentenced during a recent court hearing.
