Healthy Living with Diabetes teaches you ways to manage diabetes through a variety of researched and proven techniques. The workshop compliments existing treatment programs by building skills like incorporating healthy eating and exercise into daily life. The workshop also covers ways to manage stress and fatigue, and how to develop better ways to problem-solve and communicate with doctors and family members.
Workshops are best for adults who have or live with anyone who has pre-diabetes, diabetes Type 1 or diabetes Type 2 or who care for someone with diabetes. This workshop meets weekly for six weeks.
