SAWYER COUNTY -- At 9:05 AM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, a crash occurred on County Road B at County Road K in Sawyer County near Hayward.
While responding to a medical call a Sawyer County paramedic unit was traveling, with lights and siren activated, on County Road B east of Hayward. The medic unit approached the intersection with County Road K where it slowed, changed the tone of its siren, and entered the intersection. The medic unit was struck by a pickup truck that was north bound on County Road K. The medic unit rolled onto its roof. No injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
No assisting agencies were reported.
The crash involved no fatalities or injuries.
