SHELL LAKE, WI - The School District of Shell Lake will be hosting a meet and greet for our Middle and High School Principal.
Join us in the School district of Shell Lake’s Library (use the Middle/High School entrance) on July 20th, between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, as we extend a warm welcome to our new Principal, Andrea Steffen, for students in grades 7-12.

A Message From Ms. Steffen
Hello Laker Families!
I am very excited to join the Shell Lake School District as your 7-12 Principal and to join this beautiful community! My family has traveled to the area for years, and our kids have been part of local travel league sports teams. My fiancé, Jon, and I have seven children, my three and his four, ranging in ages from 21-11. You may have seen us on the beach at Shell Lake or at softball games and tournaments.
This will be my 26th year in education, and before joining Shell Lake, I worked in the Altoona School District for ten years serving as a Reading Specialist, Principal, and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to this, I worked in the Rib Lake and Eau Claire Area School Districts as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, Title I teacher and instructional coach.
While I will serve as the 7-12 principal, I am also a mom and know firsthand that it truly does take a village to raise children. I'd love to meet "the village" and am inviting all who can make it to a meet and greet at the high school on July 20th at 10:00.
