SPOONER, WI — Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, Michael Alfonso, joined Ben Dryden on DrydenWire Live! this morning to discuss his campaign and vision for Northern Wisconsin.
Alfonso, who officially announced his candidacy earlier this week, became the third Republican to enter the race for the open 7th District seat following Congressman Tom Tiffany’s announcement that he will run for Wisconsin Governor.
During the live, unscripted conversation — streamed on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and YouTube channel — Alfonso spoke about his background, values, and the issues driving his campaign. The 60-minute discussion aimed to help viewers “get to know the person as well as the candidate.”
