Trump Says U.S. Ready For ‘Next Conquest,’ Warns Military To Remain Near Iran Until ‘Real Agreement’ Is Honored

President Donald Trump said Wednesday U.S. military forces will remain deployed in and around Iran until Tehran fully complies with the “real agreement,” warning that any breach would trigger a military response larger than anything seen before.

“All US ships, aircraft, and military personnel...will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Used Car Prices Hit Highest Level Since Summer Of 2023

A key measure of used car prices just hit its highest level in nearly three years as strong demand and tight supply push wholesale values higher.

The Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index, which tracks the prices dealerships pay for used cars at auction, rose 6.2% in March from a year earlier to its highest point since the summer of 2023.

Wholesale prices have been moving higher since the start of the year, as dealers anticipated strong demand from this year’s larger tax refunds.

Gas Prices Are Americans’ Top Concern In Iran War

Nearly six weeks into the U.S. military campaign against Iran, a new Pew Research Center survey finds that higher gas prices are the outcome that concerns Americans the most. But majorities also worry about the United States sending ground troops into Iran, large numbers of military casualties, terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, and the war expanding outside the Middle East.

The survey was conducted March 23-29 among 3,507 U.S. adults.

Why High Oil Prices Are Good For Oil Companies — Until They Aren't

Higher prices are good news for the oil industry — to a point. But they can bite, too.

Crude oil prices were around $70 a barrel before the war in Iran. After the U.S. and Israel attacked, they started swinging wildly, shooting up to nearly $120; with the current ceasefire, prices are between $90 and $100. Some disruptions to supply could take months to unwind even if the ceasefire holds, which has some analysts predicting a prolonged period of higher prices.

Wisconsin's Wide-Open 2026 Democratic Primary For Governor

Now that the 2026 Wisconsin Supreme Court election is over, political attention shifts to the Aug. 11 primary. More than half a dozen Democrats are running to win their party’s nomination for governor, while on the Republican side, Tom Tiffany is the only prominent name in the race.

The first two Marquette Law School Poll looks at the candidates — released on Feb. 25 and March 24 — have shown a wide open race, with 65% of Democratic voters in the latter saying they haven’t made up their minds.

Justice Bradley Warns Of Conservative Failures In State Supreme Court Races

Justice Rebecca Bradley said she was not surprised by Tuesday night's election results, warning that conservative candidates are falling behind Democrats in fundraising and voter turnout for nonpartisan state Supreme Court races.

The election will result in a 5-2 liberal majority on the court after Chris Taylor secured a 20-point victory over Maria Lazar.

Bradley predicted the election outcome when she decided not to seek re-election last year, noting the issue was not about the candidates themselves. She said she saw a change coming for conservative candidates years ago after she won in 2016, which factored into her decision not to run this year.

Tiffany Calls Supreme Court Loss 'Setback,' Looks Ahead To Governor's Race

Republicans are responding after Judge Chris Taylor won a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Congressman Tom Tiffany, who is running for governor, addressed the loss during a press conference, calling it a setback for conservatives.

"Well, we got our butts kicked last night, right? There's no doubt about it, and we should acknowledge that," Tiffany said. "But the election coming up this fall, in November, is a new election. Every election is unique."

Liberals Dominated Wisconsin’s Supreme Court Race. Will It Carry Over To November?

Liberal Justice-elect Chris Taylor’s win in Tuesday’s Supreme Court election was so lopsided that political observers had lots of ideas for what to call it: a landslide, a romp, an outlier — and possibly a harbinger, with the caveat that this is Wisconsin, and things can change fast here.

Labels aside, Taylor’s dominant victory continued two trends that have now spanned multiple elections. Liberals can’t seem to lose statewide judicial races in Wisconsin. And, as the November midterms draw near, the pendulum keeps swinging in Democrats’ direction.

Wisconsin Governor Candidates Outline Healthcare Priorities At Forum

Democratic candidates for Wisconsin governor discussed healthcare at a forum hosted by Wisconsin Health News in Madison on Wednesday.

All of the candidates were asked what the most important thing is that they would do as governor for the state’s healthcare system.
