Henry said in a video address late Monday that his government would leave power after the establishment of a transitional council, adding, “Haiti needs peace. Haiti needs stability.”

Blue Cities Go Red With Conservative Policies On Crime

From coast to coast, American cities known for their liberal policies are taking more aggressive, conservative approaches to fighting crime.

It's a surprising and stark reversal for Democrats who pushed for significant criminal justice reforms four years ago.

The changes expose intense pressure on Democrats to adopt tougher anti-crime laws and policies they once ridiculed — and reflect rising fears about violent crime among voters on both ends of the political spectrum.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Changes Procedures Again To Speed Up Cases

The changes limit the time dissenting justices have to respond to certain orders to two days; allow the court to shorten the window for parties to respond to certain petitions to less than the 14 days allowed in state law; and allow the court to agree to hear cases by a majority vote of members present at a meeting, rather than a majority of the entire court.

Far-right conservatives called out the top-ranking Republican for his refusal to impeach WEC Administrator Meagan Wolfe. The group is also criticizing Vos for prompting an investigation of former President Donald Trump following his loss in the 2020 presidential election amid allegations Trump committed voter fraud.
