WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The first of four people charged criminally following an inter-county law enforcement investigation into suspected drug dealing has been sentenced.
Shane M. Miller, age 46, of Spooner, WI, Brandon K. Bartle, age 31, of Spooner, WI, Kristin E. Root, age 39, of Spooner, WI, and Tomi J. Quagon, age 42, of Stone Lake, WI, were all arrested and subsequently charged in connection to this Spooner, WI drug bust. Miller, Bartle, and Root were allegedly all residing at the Spooner, WI residence where the search warrant was executed, and where the sales of methamphetamine were occurring.
The drug bust resulted in the seizure of a large amount of meth, other drugs, and drug paraphernalia. The Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO)Tribal Police Department, the Wisconsin Division of Criminal (DCI) Investigation, the Washburn County Sheriff’s Office, the Spooner Police Department, the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Rice Lake Police Department, Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department, Goodhue County Sheriff’s Department (MN), St. Paul Police Department (MN), and the DEA worked in conjunction to bring this drug bust to fruition.
