WASHBURN COUNTY — A coordinated response from the Hayward Police Department, Shell Lake Police Department, Spooner Police Department, and Washburn County Sheriff's Office quickly led to the recovery of a stolen Jeep and the arrest of a woman now facing felony charges.
A criminal complaint filed in Washburn County Circuit Court alleges that Tara Bulizak (23) of Sioux City, IA, stole the vehicle from a Hayward, WI, gas station before being stopped in Washburn County, where law enforcement also discovered more than 20 grams of methamphetamine inside the Jeep.
