Shortly after 5:00 pm on Saturday evening the Chippewa County Sheriff's Dept. received a 911 call regarding a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Hwy 64 and CTH G. The caller reported a number of people injured requesting EMS.
Upon arrival, the preliminary investigation indicated that a northbound vehicle on CTH G failed to stop/yield at the intersection of S-Hwy 64 and struck a westbound truck pulling a trailer.
The northbound vehicle, a minivan was driven by Cara L Stevens age 23 of Eau Claire, WI. The westbound a pick-up truck pulling an enclosed trailer was driven by David J Kummer age 47 of Medford, WI.
Passengers in the minivan were Mikaila S Toske age 23 of Eau Claire, WI. Raven A Ellin age 21 of Eau Claire, WI. Jonathan J Jorgensen age 36 of Eau Claire, WI.
Passengers in the pick-up truck were Kristine J Kummer age 46 of Medford, WI. Cody J Kummer age 26 of Medford, WI. Michael A Molitor age 60 of Medford, WI and Nicole A Rooni age 32 of Medford, WI.

The traffic accident is being conducted by the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
All parties involved were air lifted and or transported by ambulances to area hospitals in Eau Claire.
