SPOONER, WI (DrydenWire) — Wisconsin Secretary of State candidate Nate Pollnow joined DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden Tuesday morning on DrydenWire Live! to discuss his campaign, the role of the Secretary of State, and how he believes the office should better serve Wisconsin residents.
Pollnow, a farmer and small businessman from Dodge County, recently announced his candidacy for Secretary of State. During the live interview, he explained why he entered the race and shared his view that the office should play a stronger role in government transparency, accountability, and public access to information.
The wide-ranging conversation covered Pollnow’s background as a lifelong Wisconsinite and second-generation farmer, as well as his concerns about how the Secretary of State’s responsibilities have been reduced over time. Pollnow discussed what authority the office currently holds and what changes he would pursue if elected.
Consistent with the DrydenWire Live! format, the discussion was informal and unscripted, with no prewritten questions. Viewers were able to submit questions during the live broadcast, which streamed on DrydenWire’s Facebook page, helping guide portions of the conversation.
The full video recording of the show is available on DrydenWire’s YouTube channel and is embedded below for readers who were unable to watch live.
