Shell Lake’s Jon Beecroft is a high school student with big ambitions overlaid with kindness.
He got his idea of being a personal shopper from a movie his mother, Jennifer was watching one day. Why not? He had a driver’s license and between the three evenings he works at the Shell Lake Cenex and his school classes, including Science Olympiad, he would have time to do custom shopping for folks in both Shell Lake and Spooner.
Whether it’s for Christmas gifts or groceries or anything in between, he’s available for hire; which should look good when he applies to college pursuing a degree in Business.
He and his family attend the World Harvest Church in Rice Lake and he has a 3.8 grade point average and fellow employees at Cenex credit him for being responsible.
When you call Jon at 715-416-2377, he’ll arrange a time to meet and talk to see if his services fit the need, and as he says, “establish trust.” Even though he advertizes a $10 an hour service fee, he says it’s always “open to negotiation” and he does not plan to dawdle.
He already has his company motto, good service at a reasonable cost, and if he’s sent for groceries says he not only will bring them into the house, but will help put them away.
Here’s a young man just starting out with a big heart, a head for business and ambition that is sure to take him far in life.
