Neil Kline Announces Candidacy For The 75th Assembly District

Wisconsin’s 75th Assembly District — Neil Kline, of Osceola, has announced that he will be running as a Republican for the Wisconsin State Assembly to represent District 75, which includes all of Polk County and the majority of Burnett County.

“I am truly excited to run and to represent where I grew up,” said Neil. “My focus for this campaign is simple: saving small towns and communities like ours in Polk and Burnett counties.”

Neil’s family moved from Somerset to Milltown when he was in elementary school. He graduated from Unity High School in 2014, and UW-Madison in 2018. During that time, Neil worked in higher education and for a State Senator and the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. He also worked in agricultural banking before taking his current role as the executive director of Family Friendly Workplaces, an organization focused on addressing western and northwestern Wisconsin’s long-term workforce shortage.

Neil lives in Osceola and is deeply involved in the community, currently serving in the following capacities:

  • Trustee, Osceola Village Board
  • Member, Osceola Business Improvement District Board
  • Member, Osceola Chamber of Commerce Board
  • Member, Osceola Economic Vitality Committee
  • Member, Osceola Lions Club

“Every day, we all experience or hear the stories of families or communities struggling, and we know that we need leaders who will lift them both up,” said Neil. “We need a Representative that will listen to the people of Polk and Burnett counties.”

Critical to the success of small towns and communities is tax relief and limited government. Neil believes that you know best how to spend your money and lead your life, not the government. He will always work to get government out of your way, and to unleash the potential in every small town and community in the 75th.

The campaign’s second focus is on economic growth and opportunity. Employers and small businesses across the 75th struggle to fully staff themselves, and their employees can’t find homes they can afford to purchase or people who can watch their kids. This trifecta of a workforce, housing, and child care shortage threatens the future of small towns and communities, and it must be addressed.

Neil’s campaign will also focus on education and families, because both are key to saving small towns and communities. We need to provide the tools that will re-center families in our communities by focusing on tax breaks for families, providing support for parents to choose the right education for their children, and ensuring family-supporting careers exist in every community.

“The future of the people and places we love is on the line like never before,” said Neil. “We must rise to meet the moment, and elect a Representative who will bring our voice to Madison with effective solutions which are equal to the challenges we face. I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail, and working hard to earn your vote.”
