WASHBURN COUNTY -- A Spooner, WI, man already facing serious allegations for sexual assault of a juvenile is now charged in a second Washburn County Circuit Court case following an investigation by the Spooner Police Department into allegations that he sexually assaulted a second juvenile victim, who was also under the age of 16 at the time of the assault.

Trudell was previously sentenced for felony arson in August 2025 and placed on probation. His probation was revoked after his arrest in December, and online records show that he has now been sentenced to serve a term of incarceration in Wisconsin State Prison.

Following the Spooner Police Department’s investigation into the new allegations, charges, including felony second-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 16 and exposing genitals, were filed against Trudell in March 2016. He is scheduled to have another court appearance in May 2026.
