WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - New felony charges have been filed in Washburn County Circuit Court against 52-year-old Brien Drain of Spooner, WI, stemming from a December 2024 high-speed pursuit on Highway 53.
Prosecutors have now charged Drain with Class F Felony Operating with a Restricted Controlled Substance – 9th Offense. Drain was already facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in the case, including fleeing law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine. He is scheduled to appear again in court on December 1, 2025.
