SPOONER, WI (DrydenWire) — Nick Polce, a U.S. Army Green Beret veteran and businessman who is running for Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor, joined DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden on Tuesday morning for a live, unscripted conversation as part of the ongoing ‘DrydenWire Live!’ series.
The discussion was streamed live on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and featured a casual, wide-ranging conversation focused on Polce’s personal background, military service, and decision to enter the race for statewide office. As with other DrydenWire Live episodes, the show was conversational in nature and not a traditional interview, with no prewritten questions.
Polce announced his campaign for Lieutenant Governor in 2025. During the show, he spoke about his more than decade-long service as a Special Forces soldier in the U.S. Army before transitioning into the private sector as a businessman.
Polce also discussed issues he has identified as priorities in his campaign, including rising costs of living, criminal justice concerns, job growth, and opportunities for Wisconsin families. He emphasized the importance of leadership, accountability, and public service, drawing on both his military experience and his role as a husband and father.
A resident of Delavan, Wisconsin, Polce shared how his involvement with veteran organizations, his church, and youth sports has shaped his views on community engagement and leadership. He said those experiences, along with his upbringing centered on faith, family, service, and hard work, continue to guide his approach to public service.
Viewers were invited to participate during the live broadcast by submitting questions and comments throughout the show.
