Northland Badger Soccer Club (NBSC) is having a registration meeting for the upcoming spring season on Monday, January 16 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Spooner Middle School commons area. There will be computers set-up there for online registration as well as paper registration forms.
NBSC is youth soccer for Spooner, Shell Lake, Minong, and surrounding areas. “The club has grown a lot in recent years,” says Kathryn Hoellen, NBSC President. “We strive to not only grow in numbers, but also help our players grow in knowledge, skill and love of the game.”
The spring soccer season runs approximately April 1 thru June 9, start time dependent on weather. There is recreational soccer in Spooner for kids born in the years 2007-2012. Players born between the years 1998 and 2006 will play on a traveling team.
“Spring will be here before we know it and we’re excited about the upcoming spring soccer season” adds Hoellen. “If your child has any interest whatsoever, I would encourage you to come to the registration meeting to learn more about the soccer club and see if it might be a good fit for your family.”
