“The Northwest Wisconsin Maple Farm Tour is a chance for people to get out into the countryside, meet the families behind local maple syrup, and see firsthand how sap season comes to life,” said organizers of the tour. “It’s a simple, memorable spring outing for families, food lovers, and anyone who wants to support local agriculture.”
The tour is self-paced, allowing visitors to choose which farms to visit and how long to stay at each location. Organizers encourage guests to dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear, as many activities take place outdoors and conditions may be muddy depending on the weather.
In addition to being a fun seasonal outing, the Maple Farm Tour helps connect the public with local farmers and supports the region’s maple tradition. Organizers describe the event as a community educational outreach effort created by the participating sugar shacks.
