POLK COUNTY — One person is dead and two others are seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Polk County, according to a press release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

On April 15, 2025, at 10:40 AM, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office emergency call center received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 65 at County Highway F (85th Avenue).
An Eastbound passenger car occupied by only the driver failed to stop at the stop sign and went into the path of a southbound pickup truck on Highway 65. The driver of the car was pronounced deceased on scene.
There were two occupants in the southbound pickup truck, and both were transported by ground ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries. The name of the deceased will be released at a later date.
The crash remains under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
