SPOONER, WI — Conservative businessman and attorney Paul Wassgren, who recently launched his campaign for U.S. Congress in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, joined DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden live on DrydenWire Live! on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Wassgren, an Ashland entrepreneur, announced his bid for Congress on October 28, 2025, kickstarting his campaign with a $1 million personal investment.
He is one of three Republican candidates running for the open WI-07 seat, alongside Michael Alfonso and Jessi Ebben, both of whom previously appeared on DrydenWire Live!.
The seat became open after Congressman Tom Tiffany announced that he is running for Wisconsin Governor.
Wassgren’s appearance marked his first visit to DrydenWire Live! as the race for Wisconsin’s 7th District continues to evolve.
