Pedestrian Hit, Driver Arrested In Burnett County

BURNETT COUNTY — A pedestrian was airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital after being hit by a vehicle early Sunday morning, according to the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office.

On November 2, 2025, shortly after 1 a.m. Burnett County Dispatch received a call from a person stating he had struck a pedestrian near the intersection of County Highway FF and Perida Road in the Town of Lincoln.

Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire personnel were sent to the scene.

The pedestrian was treated at the scene by EMS and airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities for further medical care. The pedestrian’s medical condition is unknown at this time.

The driver of the vehicle who struck the pedestrian was Luke Beechler, 37 years old, of Webster. He was arrested for Cause Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle.

This case is still under active investigation. No further information will be released at this time.

Burnett County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Siren Police Department, Webster Fire Department and North Ambulance and Air Care.
