POLK COUNTY — A Polk County drug case involving more than 100 grams of methamphetamine and several other controlled substances has resulted in a felony conviction for a Balsam Lake, WI, man, while charges against his passenger remain pending.
Tyler Jacobson (37) and Jasmine Marcyan (26) were both charged in Polk and Burnett counties following two traffic stops just days apart.
Charges are proceeding against Marcyan; Jacobson was sentenced in Polk County Circuit Court on September 22, 2026, for a drug-related conviction stemming from a June 2026 traffic stop. The case involved a K9 alert and a subsequent search that investigators say uncovered methamphetamine, THC products, psilocybin, suspected MDMA, and drug paraphernalia.
