POLK COUNTY — A Polk County man is facing multiple felony charges after prosecutors allege he drove a stolen pickup truck while heavily intoxicated, crashed in a violent rollover that left him seriously injured, and caused damage to multiple properties.
Arthur VanWert (51) of Amery, WI, appeared last in Polk County Circuit Court on July 24, 2026, where a judge found probable cause to proceed on charges including 9th OWI, operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, and criminal property damage. The case will now move forward with additional court proceedings scheduled for August 2026.
