POLK COUNTY -- A months-long digital investigation into suspected illegal online content has led to a felony conviction for a Polk County man.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded a CyberTip to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, resulting in search warrants, the seizure of electronic devices, and criminal charges against Jeffrey Schlosser, 27, of Amery, WI, for alleged possession and attempted sharing of unlawful materials involving minors.
Schlosser entered a plea to a felony charge during a recent court hearing and was sentenced.
