A search warrant executed by Polk County Sheriff's Office Investigators uncovered a marijuana grow operation in Dresser, WI.
According to public records obtained and reviewed by DrydenWire.com, Polk County Investigators executed a search warrant on December 29, 2016, at the residence of Kevin Palmer in Dresser, WI.
During the search of the residence, investigators discovered a 'grow room' containing 41 marijuana plants that were planted in soil and being raised in a room outfitted with artificial lights designed to encourage the growth of plants.
Documents state that a total of 253 grams of marijuana were located in the residence, along with a scale, and a small amount of THC 'wax' and 3 more marijuana plants in the garage. The garage was set up with three separate 'grow' areas, one of which was active. Also in the garage, investigators found drying screens, heaters and fans along with a ventilation system.
At the time of the search warrant, Palmer was in the home along with his grandparents and three minor children.
Charges of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver or Distribute, a Class H Felony, and Manufacturing or Delivering Marijuana, also a Class H Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Misdemeanor, were filed against Palmer in Polk County Circuit Court on December 30, 2016.
Public record shows that Palmer posted a cash bond of $250.00 on December 30, 2016, and is scheduled to appear again in Polk County Circuit Court on January 30, 2017 regarding these charges.
