POLK COUNTY — Polk County authorities served a search warrant at St. Croix Tobacco and Vape in St. Croix Falls after discovering products that exceeded Wisconsin’s legal THC limits, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at 8:30 am the Polk County Sheriff’s Office with members of the St Croix Valley Drug Taskforce, and St Croix Falls Police Department served a search warrant at St Croix Tobacco and Vape in the City of St Croix Falls.
The Taskforce was aware that many products sold in the business were not in compliance with Wisconsin state law. Prior testing of several products sold showed levels of THC delta-9 exceeding the allowable limit of .3 percent. A trailer load of evidence was seized from the business. This case will be referred to the District Attorney for charges.
We will continue to monitor these types of products to make sure they are in compliance. These items are sold at various locations in Polk County. We will take swift action if products sold are exceeding legal limits.
