WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - An incident following the 2023 Spooner Rodeo has resulted in a prison sentence for a Turtle Lake, WI man, Gerald Smith. Charges of child abuse were filed against Smith from the incident, and in January 2024, a jury returned a verdict of Guilty. Smith was sentenced on his conviction during a court hearing on March 18, 2024.
