Quinn Is Out, Endorses Tiffany For Congress

Wisconsin 75th Assembly District Representative Romaine Quinn (R-Barron) has announced today that he will not be running for the 7th Congressional seat.

“I am so thankful for everyone that reached out and encouraged me to run,” said Quinn. “However, as my wife and I hope to start a family, a congressional campaign and work schedule would be more than we want to take on right now. It would also pull me too far away from the people in the 6 counties I currently represent.”

Quinn not only stated that he isn’t running, but he also endorsed Senator Tom Tiffany (R-Minocqua) at one of his tour stops at Rice Lake Weighing in Rice Lake, WI.

“From fixing the dairy crisis to supporting our manufacturers — I know that Tom understands the issues we face. We need another authentic, northern Wisconsinite to punch back against the progressive elites in Washington that continue to look down their noses at our people and our rural way of life”

Congressman Duffy previously announced that was stepping down on September 23rd. At that time, Governor Evers will be able to set the date for the special election to fill the seat.
