Press Release
It was announced today that Rep. Nick Milroy (D-South Range) will continue to serve on the following Wisconsin State Assembly committees: Sporting Heritage; Forestry, Parks, and Outdoor Recreation; Rural Development; and Veterans and Military Affairs. Milroy will serve as the ranking Democratic member on the Committee on Sporting Heritage and the Committee on Forestry, Parks, and Outdoor Recreation.
“I am honored to have been re-appointed to these committees and to have the opportunity to again serve as a ranking member on the Committee on Sporting Heritage and the Committee on Forestry, Parks, and Outdoor Recreation. As an avid outdoorsman who represents a district with so many opportunities for hunting, fishing, and other types of public recreation, it means a lot for me to be able to work on legislation that makes the outdoors safer, cleaner, and more accessible for all Wisconsinites to enjoy,” Milroy said.
“There is much that must be done to address the unique issues of our times. I am ready to work with my colleagues on both side of the aisle to pass meaningful legislation that protects and supports Wisconsinites through this ongoing pandemic. I feel optimistic about what we can achieve together this legislative session,” Milroy continued.
Milroy represents Wisconsin’s 73rd Assembly district. He was re-elected on November 3 and sworn into the 2021-22 legislative session by Gov. Tony Evers virtually on December 28, 2020.
