Press Release
Rep. Nick Milroy (D-South Range) was sworn in to the 2021-22 session of the Wisconsin State Assembly by Governor Tony Evers during a virtual inauguration ceremony.
“It is an honor for me to be sworn in to continue serving constituents of the 73rd Assembly District. As a lifelong resident of Northwestern Wisconsin, I understand how unique and valuable this region of the state is, and I am humbled by the opportunity to represent citizens from all across the district,” Milroy said.
The representative continued, “There are many unprecedented challenges facing Wisconsinites that need to be addressed this legislative session. My top priority will be providing relief to those affected most by the global pandemic, particularly small businesses, and ensuring that vaccines are delivered and administered as fast as possible to protect our citizens and get our economy back on track. I look forward to working with my colleagues to tackle these issues and continuing to fight for the hardworking families of Northwestern Wisconsin.”
Milroy will begin serving his seventh term as State Representative for Wisconsin's 73rd Assembly District at the start of the upcoming legislative session on January 4, 2021. The District consists of most of Douglas County, and the northern halves of Washburn and Burnett Counties. Milroy was first elected in 2008.
