BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A Burnett County man has been sentenced following his fifth conviction for operating while intoxicated after a September 2024 traffic stop revealed signs of impairment and multiple open beer cans in his vehicle.
Gary Haaf was pulled over by a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper for not wearing a seatbelt and driving a truck without proper license plates. The stop led to field sobriety testing and a breath test showing a 0.144% alcohol concentration.
Haaf, who has prior OWI convictions dating back to 1995, was sentenced during a recent Burnett County Court hearing.
