RICE LAKE, WI — The Lodge donated $1,500 to SART-Sexual Assault Response Team. The non-profit organization serves-Barron, Pierce, Polk, Rusk and St. Croix Counties in Western Wisconsin. The local office in Rice Lake is Randall Therapeutics located at 33 Ann Street.

The mission of SART is to improve community health and safety by providing comprehensive services and resources that respond to and prevent interpersonal violence.

Recently SART conducted a Halloween themed gala at Rice Lake Elks #1441 to raise awareness of area needs and the presentation made by the group was eye opening to the local community and interpersonal violence in the area.

The donation was made possible by receiving a grant from the Elks organization. The Local Lodge qualified for the grant by members contributions. The grant application was completed by Rice Lake Elks Grant Coordinator-Marla Gygli.

The presentation was made by Treasurer Sunni Bliese, Trustee Scott Bliese, and Marla Gygli (PER and current Lodge Secretary) to Kimberly Randall event coordinator -SART team member and manager of the Rice Lake location.
