RUSK COUNTY, WI — Authorities are asking the public for help in locating a missing Rusk County woman who is believed to have dementia or another cognitive impairment.
According to the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network and the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office, Julie Ann Meisegeier, 74, was last seen on December 22, 2025, between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. in the Gilman/Cornell area. She was expected to return to her home in Bruce, Wisconsin, but has not arrived and has not responded to phone calls.
Officials report that Meisegeier was earlier seen in Osseo, Wisconsin, around 12:45 p.m. that same day before traveling to the Gilman area.
Meisegeier is described as a 74-year-old white female, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, with green eyes and short gray hair. She was last known to be wearing a pink fuzzy sweater, gray pants, and glasses.
Authorities believe Meisegeier is traveling in a vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2020 black Chevrolet Equinox with Wisconsin license plate AND-7129.
Anyone who has seen Meisegeier, the vehicle, or has information that may assist in locating her is urged to contact the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office at 715-532-2200.
