RUSK COUNTY — A criminal complaint recently filed in Rusk County Circuit Court against Brett Cox, age 39, formerly of Ladysmith, WI, alleges that for several months in 2023, he committed repeated sexual assault of a child under the age of 16 who was known to him, along with committing other sex crimes against the child.
Cox, who was reincarcerated in Wisconsin State Prison in March 2024, following revocation of his extended supervision from a 2013 Arson conviction, is scheduled to make an initial court appearance on his new charges in June 2026.
