RUSK COUNTY — A routine traffic stop in Rusk County, WI, has resulted in felony drug charges against two Ladysmith, WI, men after investigators allegedly discovered a box weighing more than 13 pounds filled with THC and psilocybin products inside their vehicle.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Rusk County Circuit Court, John Sayre, 39, and Cody Sholes, 34, are each charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substances following the May 8, 2026, traffic stop near Glen Flora. Sholes is also facing felony drug charges in Taylor County Circuit Court.
