Church Safety & Security Training Held at Shell Lake Church

Church Safety & Security Training Held at Shell Lake Church

A great turnout for the Church Safety and Security training held at a local church in Shell Lake last night. This program has been offered by the Washburn County Sheriff's Office, in order to help churches ensure a safe place to worship. Topics covered are: Facility Security Assessment, Policy Development, Active Threats, Usher Training, Youth Program Safety, and Communications Policy. Following the presentation, there were a lot of great questions that lead to good discussions.

This assessment and training can be modified to fit the needs of of any place of worship, big or small and be adjusted for any business, day care centers, hospitals or other institutions in the county.

Chief Deputy Richter has developed and makes this assessment and training available. If your church has an interest in the Church Safety Presentation, contact The Washburn County Sheriff's Office, Chief Deputy Mike Richter 715-468-4700.
