TREGO -- Mark your calendars, ladies & gentlemen!  The Body Shop North will be hosting their first ever WOD (Workout of the Day) & Wine!! 

Join them on Thursday, November, 30 at 5:45p at The Body Shop North in Trego for a workout and some wine! All are welcome to bring their favorite wine to share after the workout (glasses provided).

The cost is only $10 for members or $20 for non-members. All proceeds going to a local charity to purchase gifts for a family in need this holiday season!

TREGO -- The third installment of The Body Shop Fitness Centers - dubbed 'The Body Shop North' - is set to open Monday, September 18, in Trego, Wisconsin. Just seven miles north of Spooner, this location will look a little different than the full fitness facility you might be used to seeing. The 1300 sq ft facility does have selected cardio equipment, but the main gym is designed for workouts revolving around body movements, dumbbells, and barbells.

Leslie Gudmunsen (pronounced Good-mun-sen), who will be managing this fitness center, currently competes in Festivus Games and will be introducing these movements in her classes that she will hold in Trego. 

Unlike the Shell Lake and Spooner locations, the Trego facility will only be accessible from 4am-9pm for active Body Shop members. Anyone looking to workout in Trego will need to purchase a membership in Shell Lake or Spooner but may obtain a day pass when Leslie is holding class in Trego. The new Trego facility is located behind the mobile gas station just off of HWY 53.

Along with this venture in Trego, the Shell Lake location is excited to announce additional fitness equipment geared towards Strong Man training. New equipment will include a yoke, a loadable circus dumbbell, a Strong Man 12-inch log, empty and loaded kegs, and a dragging sled. In the future, the Shell Lake facility will also be adding an axle bar and farmer walk handles.
