SAWYER COUNTY — The Court has sentenced a Hayward, WI, man for operating while intoxicated, 8th offense.
Shannon Pecha, 59, was arrested in July 2025 after a City of Hayward Police Officer allegedly found him stumbling and showing multiple signs of intoxication as he stood near the driver’s door of a truck in the Kwik Trip parking lot. According to the criminal complaint filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court, Pecha admitted he had been drinking before driving to the store and refused field sobriety testing.
