SAWYER COUNTY — A Hayward, WI, man has been sentenced in Sawyer County Circuit Court after pleading no contest to a felony charge stemming from a December 2025 stabbing that left another Sawyer County man with multiple stab wounds and lacerations requiring stitches and staples.
Devin Christensen, 29, was charged after authorities responded to Tamarack Health Medical Center in the early morning hours of December 18, 2025, where they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds and other injuries.
Christensen appeared, while in custody, on August 28, 2026, for a plea and sentencing hearing.
