SAWYER COUNTY — The Court has sentenced a Minnesota man on convictions from a violent incident that occurred in April 2026 in Sawyer County and left a woman with injuries including a broken nose, visible strangulation injuries, and extensive bruising.
Avery M. Jackson (21) of Cloquet, MN, received multiple felony charges following the incident and was sentenced during a July 22, 2026, court hearing.
