SAWYER COUNTY — A 22-year-old Hayward, WI, man already on probation following serious felony convictions is facing multiple new felony charges, including child enticement and intercourse with a child over age 16, after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor at a Sawyer County camping gathering.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court, Dabid Flores allegedly provided alcohol to multiple minors at the gathering in exchange for money. He later entered a tent with the minor victim and then took the victim into a portable bathroom, where investigators allege a sexual assault occurred.
The new allegations come while Flores is serving probation on convictions of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, burglary, and reckless driving causing great bodily harm. His prior sentences were stayed, but court records indicate that probation revocation could result in several years of confinement in state prison.
