Barron County has become aware of a phone scam in which caller ID shows the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) main phone number, 715-537-5691.
Barron County DHHS does not randomly contact the public seeking personal information. Do not share personal information with these callers.
Barron County is working with law enforcement and the phone company to stop these calls. The public is asked to report any suspicious calls from 715-537-5691 to their local police department.
