**Editor's Note** UPDATE: Missing Northern Wisconsin Teen Found Safe**
RUSK COUNTY, WI — Authorities continue to search for a missing 14-year-old girl from Rusk County and are asking area residents to assist by checking their properties as the investigation intensifies.
According to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network, Alexandria J. Kuntz was last seen on Saturday, December 27, 2025, between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. at her residence near Townline Road and County Road B in the Township of True, near Glen Flora. Family members discovered she was missing at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Officials say Alexandria left the residence on foot. She reportedly left behind her cell phone and laptop and does not have close friends in the area.
Alexandria is described as a 14-year-old female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair worn above shoulder length. She was last seen wearing grey pants, a grey shirt, a black coat, cream-colored Converse shoes, and carrying a pinkish/reddish Coach purse.
In an update issued Wednesday, December 31, the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office said foot searches, air searches, forensic searches, and interviews are ongoing. Authorities are now asking property owners in the area of N5246 County Highway B, approximately one mile south of Glen Flora, to search their properties, including outbuildings, and review trail camera footage.
The Sheriff’s Office said it is continuing the search and investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the FBI, and the Sawyer County Search and Rescue Team.
Investigators are also asking for the public’s help if anyone was traveling on County Highway B south of Glen Flora late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, December 27–28, and may have seen someone walking along the roadway.
Anyone who has seen Alexandria or has information that may assist in locating her is urged to contact the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office at 715-532-2200. In an emergency, call 911.
Authorities say they will continue searching and investigating until Alexandria is found.
