Search Warrant in Polk County Results in Drug House Takedown

Polk County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on November 7th, 2016 resulting in felony charges against Troy Monson, of Comstock, WI, David Anderson, of Rice Lake, WI, and Kelly Nelson, of Turtle Lake, WI.

According to documents received by DrydenWire.com, a search warrant was executed by the Polk County Sheriff's Office on November 7th, 2016 in Comstock, WI.

Monson initially fled from deputies, however was later located and arrested. Deputies located methamphetamine during their search of the premises and all parties were detained.

According to public record, charges were filed against all three parties on November 8th, 2016.

Monson has received new charges of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Manufacturing or Delivering Amphetamines, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, 5 charges of Felony Bail Bond Violation, and 2 charges of Misdemeanor Bail Bond Violation. Monson also has other open criminal cases in Barron County Circuit Court with 2 charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Manufacturing or Delivering Amphetamines, 2 charges of Resisting or Obstructing and Officer, 2 charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 3 charges of Felony Bail Bond Violation.

Public record indicates that Polk County Circuit Court has Monson under the conditions of a $5,000 cash bond and he is due back in court on his new charges on December 29th, 2016. Monson also has Jury Trials scheduled in Barron County; one in December 2016 and one in February 2017 for his other pending charges.

Anderson has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, and 4 charges of Felony Bail Bond Violation. Anderson also has other open cases in Polk County with 2 charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Bail Bond Violation and 2 charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Anderson has been placed under conditions of a $2,500 cash bond in Polk County and is due back in Polk County Circuit Court on December 27th, 2016.

Nelson has received 2 new charges of Felony Bail Bond violation. Nelson has another open case in Polk County Circuit Court charging her with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possesion of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 3 charges of Neglecting a Child.

Nelson has been placed under a $1,500 cash bond by Polk County Circuit Court and has requested a jury trial on her new charges which is scheduled for February of 2017.
