Search Warrant Leads To Discovery Of Illegal Drugs, Unsafe Living Conditions In Danbury

BURNETT COUNTY — Illegal drugs and concerning living conditions were discovered during the execution of a search warrant in the Danbury Community, according to a press release from the St. Croix Tribal Police Department.

PRESS RELEASE

On November 8, 2025, St. Croix Tribal Police Officers executed a search warrant at a residence located in the Danbury Community. During the search, Officers located illegal drug items consistent with the use of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and marijuana.

Due to concerns regarding the living conditions observed at the residence, St. Croix Indian Child Welfare (ICW) was contacted to assess the safety and wellbeing of any children present. ICW ensured proper care, protection, and follow-up services were put in place.

To safeguard the privacy and identity of children involved, the St. Croix Tribal Police Department will not be releasing the names of any adults associated with this incident at this time.

The St. Croix Tribal Police Department remains committed to protecting vulnerable children, holding offenders accountable, and working collaboratively with Tribal and community partners to support safe and healthy environments for all members of the St. Croix Community.
