POLK COUNTY — On April 26, 2019 the Polk County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Keller Ave. in Amery, WI. As a result of the search warrant, 6 people were taken into custody on either active arrest warrants or due to the drugs located in the residence.
According to a probable cause statement, during the execution of the search warrant, deputies located over 30 items of methamphetamine drug paraphernalia and over 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine as well as a small amount of marijuana. Items of drug paraphernalia that were tested returned positive results for methamphetamine.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Department probable cause statement Jeremy Stoklasa admitted to law enforcement that he is the primary renter of the residence on Keller Avenue where the search warrant was executed and that the others located there either rent from him or [just] stay there; Stoklasa allegedly went on to state that he ‘can’t get rid of’ the other tenants and admitted to using methamphetamine and marijuana with them.
Online circuit court records show that criminal charges have been filed against 5 individuals following this drug bust in Amery.
Jeremy Stoklasa is charged with Class I Felony Maintain Drug Trafficking Place; Class I Felony Possession of Methamphetamine; and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. Stoklasa was placed on a $2,500 signature bail bond.
Pamela Huffman is charged with Class I Felony Maintain Drug Trafficking Place; Class I Felony Possess Methamphetamine; and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. These charges were filed against Huffman with a penalty enhancer for being a repeat offender. The Court placed Huffman on a $500 cash bail bond.
Michael Carpenter is charged with Class I Felony Maintain Drug Trafficking Place; Class I Felony Possession of Methamphetamine; and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. Carpenter was placed on a $2,500 signature bail bond.
Nancyleigh Kane is charged with Class I Felony Possess Methamphetamine; and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. These charges were filed against Kane with a penalty enhancer for being a repeat offender. Kane was placed on a $2,500 signature bail bond.
Jasmine Marcyan is charged with Class I Felony Maintain Drug Trafficking Place; Class I Felony Possession of Methamphetamine; Class H Felony Bail Jumping and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. The Court placed Marcyan on a $500 cash bail bond.
In a separate case filed against her in Polk County Circuit Court in December 2018, Marcyan is facing charges of Class I Felony Possess Methamphetamine; Class H Felony Possess Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture, Compound, Convert, Produce, or Store Methamphetamine; and Misdemeanor Possess THC. All charges in that case were filed with the penalty enhancer Party to a Crime. Although details of the case are not known to DrydenWire.com at the time of the post, Marcyan was placed on a $1,500 signature bail bond in December 2018.
All five individuals facing charges are scheduled to have preliminary examination hearings in May 2019 on their charges.
At the time of this post, charges were not located in online circuit court records for the sixth individual who was arrested.
