SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - An undercover online investigation by the Lac Courte Oreilles Police Department, with assistance from the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office, into the potential illegal trafficking of heroin or fentanyl led to the seizure of nearly 5 grams of fentanyl and the arrest of two women, Yvone Lynne Martinson & Sarah Jean Tainter, and has now resulted in felony convictions for both.
Martinson was sentenced on her conviction at a previous hearing in Sawyer County Circuit Court. Tainter appeared for a recent court hearing and was sentenced on her convictions.
