A semi vs car crash on Highway 53 resulted in all of the occupants to be transported to the hospital, according to a press release from Washburn County Chief Deputy Mike Richter.
(Press Release) -- On 06/25/18 at approxiamately 3:09 P.M.The Washburn County Sheriff's Office Communications Center recieved a report of a semi/car crash on Highway 53 just South of Brooklyn Road.
Preliminary information indicates that the semi tractor struck the car causing the car to leave the roadway and overturn several times. The semi left the roadway and crashed into a heavily wooded area.
Two occupants from the car and the operator of the semi were all transported by ambulance, from the scene.
A great job by the Emergency Responders: Wisconsin State Patrol, Washburn County Sheriff, Minong Fire, Minong Police, Minong Ambulance, Gordon Ambulance, and North Ambulance.
This crash investigation continues and is being handled by The Wisconsin State Patrol .
