MADISON – Senator Patty Schachtner (D-Somerset) has processed more than 8,000 constituent contacts since being sworn into office in February 2018. Constituents facing difficulty with a state agency or seeking information about legislation have reached out to Sen. Schachtner’s office via phone, e-mail, and U.S. mail.
“I’m grateful for every person who has taken the time to stay engaged with state government,” said Sen. Schachtner. “I stand ready to be a resource and an advocate for western Wisconsin residents.”
Senator Schachtner has worked to make government more accessible and accountable. She has hosted numerous listening sessions and community events in an effort to increase transparency and foster dialogue.
