MADISON-- State Senator Tom Tiffany (R-Minocqua) today released a resolution urging the State Legislature to oppose the passing and holding of the Articles of Impeachment against President Trump.
“Speaker Pelosi’s House of Representatives has wasted several months focusing on a baseless impeachment of President Trump,” said Senator Tiffany.
The resolution urges the United States House of Representatives to wrap up the impeachment distraction and focus on issues that impact Wisconsinites’ daily lives.
“It’s time for Wisconsin to stand up and say we as a state want Congress to focus on issues that matter, like defending our borders to combat drug and human trafficking, maintaining American military superiority, ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and protecting our Constitutional rights. A majority of Americans oppose impeachment and think enough time has been wasted. It’s time for the impeachment distraction against President Trump to end,” concluded Senator Tiffany.
